to Wrenfold, a wedding estate of forty acres in New York’s Hudson Valley, kept for one celebration a day.

The lawn, the stone barn, the glasshouse and the farmhouse are yours from the first coffee to the last dance, with our team running the day.
The Hale family has kept Wrenfold since 1891. We host one wedding a day, so every room, lawn and path on the estate belongs to you and your guests, with nobody else’s party next door.

From the first coffee in the farmhouse to the last song on the lawn, the estate moves at your pace. This is how a June Saturday usually goes.
Morning light, coffee from our kitchen and the dress hanging by the window. The farmhouse is yours from 9 am, with room for hair and makeup and a quiet porch for the first look.

Two rows of trees planted in 1893 make the aisle. Guests walk up from the drive, the light comes in low through the leaves, and the barn is the backdrop.

Warm brick, espaliered pears and a lemonade bar for the kids. Lawn games and a string trio while we turn the barn around for dinner.

Long farm tables under the old beams, candles everywhere and the big doors open to the evening. Seats 220, with the dance floor already in place.

The party spills onto the lawn under the bulbs. Music runs until 11 pm, then sparklers, and the farmhouse lights stay on for anyone sleeping over.

A day here moves through the estate: vows on the lawn, drinks in the garden, dinner in the barn and a nightcap in the glasshouse.

Ceremonies for up to 220 under a 130 year old allée

Dinner and dancing for 220, rain plan included

Rehearsal dinners and small weddings up to 60

We wanted one long table and no rush. Wrenfold gave us both, and when it rained at four the team moved the ceremony into the barn so calmly that nobody noticed.
The glasshouse dinner the night before is what our guests still talk about. Waking up in the farmhouse with everyone was the best part.
Clear pricing from the first email, a coordinator who answered the same day, and a barn that looked better than the photos.
Tours run Thursday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm. Bring the people whose opinion matters, wear flat shoes and plan on an hour.
