02 · The cabin
An A-frame with a glass roof over the bed and a deck that faces south. Every lamp is low, warm and on a switch, so the night stays outside the window where you can see it.
03 · The plan
The bed under the glass, a stove, a bath with a window to the ridge. The hot tub sits at the far end of the deck, away from every light.
04 · The count
From a city you can count about forty stars. From the deck, on a clear night with no moon, the number is closer to seven thousand, and you will not need a telescope for any of them.
05 · The moon
The darkest nights are the ones around the new moon. The calendar below marks them, so you can choose yours before you choose a cabin.
Forty acres, six cabins and a quarter of a mile between any two of them. Each one is named after the constellation that rises over its deck.

The smallest and the furthest out. One room, one stove, the whole north sky.
