Maison de parfum, Paris
A garden,kept in ice.
Éclore N°1 begins as flowers picked at first light and frozen within the hour.
La fonte
We letit thaw.
Rose water and pink pepper run through the frost. Nothing is pressed, nothing is rushed.
Eau de parfum
Bloom,bottled.
Éclore N°1. 50 ml, $165. Refillable at the atelier, for life.
Le manifeste
We pick at first light, while the petals still hold the cold. Within the hour the harvest is sealed in ice, and it stays there until the day it becomes perfume. That is why Éclore smells like a garden at six in the morning, and not like the memory of one.
Rue de Turenne, Paris. One perfume, made once a year.

Three refills later it is still the only one I wear. The cold part never gets old.
